From breakdowns to breakthroughs, this bakery was born.
Hi, I’m Amanda, the owner of Breakthrough Bakery.
What started in my home kitchen as a cottage baker has grown into a retail food–licensed sourdough microbakery built on resilience, community, and really good sourdough goods.
We don’t have a storefront (yet!) Instead, we’ve embraced being a traveling sourdough microbakery, popping up at markets and collaborating with amazing local businesses.

This journey has been about more than bread.
Building this bakery has helped me better navigate high-functioning anxiety and depression, reminding me that creativity, community, and showing up, even imperfectly, can be incredibly healing.
It’s about connection, growth, and sharing joy, one sourdough good at a time.
